8:30 PM: The new attraction we simply called 'The Castle' (used to be Helicopter HQ) is officially named Adventure Quest! It will have SIX Interactive FAMILY Adventures within, featuring unsurpassed interactivity unique to the industry, and will offer individual tickets to each OR a SUPER COMBO TICKET that is suppose to save $$<smile> DETAILS are not being released quite yet, so check back often for more info AND to see the progress as this exciting new attraction materializes right before your eyes with regular updates! This is being developed by the same folks that brought us the very popular Amazing Mirror Maze, Circus Golf, and Firehouse Golf.

Also our friend Brett mentioned that the Space Needle has removed their putt putt course and as soon as we can find out what's going in there to replace it we'll get that info online, one suggestion was a small Movie Theater as Gatlinburg does not have one... 12:09 PM: A new place has opened up in Wears Valley (in the old antique barn on Lyon Springs Road) named Wears Valley Jamboree where Dick Rutan play mostly mountain and country music.

12:01 AM: Tony Romas MENU (Pigeon Forge Opens 3/27), 2:15 PM: Two more restaurants bit the dust: Pops Catfish & Seafood (Pigeon Forge) and Pops on The River (Sevierville) will be auctioned off March 20th. There are more and more auctions taking place, and unfortunately, I believe the worst by far is yet to come as 150 area real estate agents have jumped ship as well. MORE info ASAP. NOW is a great time to visit the Smokies, you will find the most competitive rates in many many years right now!

6:15 AM: The brand new Comfort Suites (Kodak) (That opens TODAY) is now online and we have one of their rooms VIRTUAL where you can click from room area to room area, look out the window, see the pool, even find a 'gag' if you search hard enough <smile>, carolyn has finished updating the Denny's (Pigeon Forge) full menu and it is online. 8:23 PM: Back from a run to I40-Exit 407. A new Holiday Inn Express (Kodak) will be breaking ground soon, Sportsman Acres 2 Clearing Taking Place (Kodak), Tony Romas (Pigeon Forge), Flying Horse Grill (Pigeon Forge). NOTE: Traffic On Hwy 66 / & Parkways to Exit 407 and back to Pigeon Forge (Approx. 4PM - 5PM) was extremely light, no delays whatsoever?

6:15 AM: Continuing from yesterday - Ruby's Kitchen NOW OPEN - PEEK INSIDE (Sevierville), 7:35 AM: Food City Tentative Location (Wears Valley), Dollar General Tentative Location (Wears Valley), 6:50 PM: Working on a virtual room for the brand new Comfort Suites (Kodak) that officially opens tomorrow (Friday) so check back throughout the evening to see the room being laid out virtually where you will even be able to look out the window for an actual view etc. <smile>. ALSO we stopped in Denny's (Pigeon Forge) and we both ordered breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! So carolyn is updating their entire menu 100% as well...

12:41 PM: There was a small fire in the Gift Warehouse on the Gatlinburg Parkway, which will require some minor cleanup, ALSO Earthquake The Ride & Treasure Quest Golf (on each side) will be closed for a few hours and they have apparently some smoke issues to clean up. More updates God willing on the way<SMILE>, 6:13 PM: Just back from some data/photo update gathering, will add online ASAP. ALSO all three shops affected by the minor fire in Gatlinburg (listed above) are now back open for biz<smile>, 11:23 PM: Z-Mex Grille MENU / NOW OPEN (Sevierville), 11:40 PM: Bellacino's MENU / NOW OPEN (Sevierville)

8:40 AM: Appears there was a bad fire on Ski Mountain Monday night destroying a cabin. ALSO while updating Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts Village (on the Arts & Crafts Loop) we found the following shops no longer there: Savell Art Gallery, Shop A Holler Primitives, Gatlinburg Family Crafts, Smoky Mountain Mercantile, & Shabby Ewe. We are working on some shops that have or are replacing these previous shops (some have moved here from other locations) such as So Very Cherry, Earthspeak Studio, Dinwoodle Metal Sculptures, CHRISTmas Eve Gifts and some have just changed locations within the village...More ASAP.
